It was non-stop action for more than 400 young footballers at Lochnell Football Club’s annual festival at North Connel last weekend.
This year’s competition extended over two days for the first time, showing the significant attraction of the event for teams across Argyll and Lochaber.
The teams in action on the North Connel pitch played a series of keenly-contested games across six age groups, with players showing off their skills in front of a large audience of parents and supporters.
Amongst the teams were sides from Fort William, Lochgilphead and Oban.
Everyone was a winner at the end of the festival courtesy of sponsors Anderson Banks Solicitors and Estate Agents which, once again, provided every participant with a commemorative medal for taking part.
