DEATHS
BERLANDA – Christine, née MacPhie aged 82, formerly of Taynuilt, passed away peacefully at her home of sixty years in Nassau, Bahamas on September 18, 2023. She is survived by her husband Marcus Berlanda. Dearly beloved mother to Michelle and Andrew, grandmother to Sasha, Travis, Juliette and Natalie and twin sister to Mairi Jackson, Oban. Sorely missed.
BOYD – Peacefully at the Lorn and Islands Hospital on September 29, 2023, in her 86th year, Katie Boyd, beloved wife of the late Donald and devoted sister to Anne. A dear mother to John and Kenny and mother-in-law to Mary and Morag. Much loved granny to Stewart, Fraser and Stuart and great-granny to Louis, Willow and Torran. Sadly missed.
HARRISON – Andrew, younger son of Kenneth (Wee Kenny), Oban and Carole, Scunthorpe, passed away peacefully at his home in Ipswich. His wit and intellect will be much missed. Funeral will be private.
MACINTYRE – Peacefully at home on Saturday, September 30, 2023. John, beloved husband of Ann, much loved Dad of Denise, Katy and Fiona, fond father-in-law of David and Stephen and proud Gaga of Lexi.
McKAY – (Inverness). Peacefully at home on Saturday, September 23, 2023, surrounded by family, Rae Margaret McKay (née Robertson), aged 79 years, Broomhall Court, Inverness. Sadly missed and much loved wife, mum, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. Funeral service on Thursday, October 5 at 3.30pm in the funeral home of John Fraser & Son, Chapel Street, Inverness to which all are welcome to attend. A private burial will take place in Broadford Cemetery, Isle of Skye. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Rae for Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie can be given at the service.
