The Highland Council is advising motorists that the Glen Nevis road, near Fort William, is closed at the youth hostel due to fallen and falling trees.
Council operatives are currently on site working to clear the trees, but the council advises anyone parked in the Glen to return to their vehicles and exit the Glen as soon as possible.
An overnight closure will remain in place and will be re-assessed as soon as possible tomorrow when conditions allow.
