Fancy a wander through the winter woods this November? You had better get online quick.
This year’s Oban Winter Festival programme is online and ticket sales for the popular Winter Woods weekends are now live.
The dates are Friday November 17 to Sunday November 19 and Friday November 24 to Sunday November 26.
People will be able to get to Glencruitten Woods using a shuttle bus from the town centre to and from the enchanted venue all evening. Entry is by minibus only. No-one arriving in cars or on foot will be admitted.
A festival spokesperson said: “We have 30 amazing installations made from upcycled/recycled materials created by individuals, community groups and schools, turning the woods into a gallery of imagination, light and sound made by the community for everyone to admire and enjoy.
“We are delighted with the uptake and fabulous ideas they have had and can’t wait to have them installed and lit for everyone to see.”
