A four way traffic light system is currently in operation near the corner of Lochavullin Road and Lochavullin Drive in Oban causing disruption.
Argyll and Bute Council confirmed the work is part of planned maintenance by Openreach engineers.
This includes repairing an existing frame and cover.
Work at the Oban Retail Park site is expected to last 12 days.
