CAMERON OF LOCHIEL – Donald Angus, CVO; peacefully at home on October 20, 2023, aged 77. Beloved husband of Cecil, loving father of Catherine, Donald, Lucy and Emily, and adored grandfather of eleven grandchildren. Funeral at 12 noon on Friday, November 10 at St. Andrew’s Church, Fort William, followed by burial at Achnacarry. A service of thanksgiving to be held at a later date in London. FRASER – Suddenly but peacefully at home with his family on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 aged 85 years, beloved husband of the late Peggy and loving father of Angus, Alasdair, Eilidh, Donald and families. Will be forever missed. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 31 at 12 noon at Glengarry Parish church, thereafter to Invergarry cemetery. Family flowers only please. JOHNSON – Alexander (Alastair) in Paisley on October 11, 2023. Alastair, last surviving son of Peter and Mary Ann Johnson who were formerly of Port Ellen and latterly of Paisley.
MACMILLAN – Peacefully at Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban after a short illness on October 18, 2023. James MacMillan (Hamish) aged 81 years, South Ardnaclach, Appin. Funeral service Thursday, October 26 at 1pm at Appin Parish Church.
SUTHERLAND – Unexpectedly, but peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2023, surrounded by his loving family, Willie, aged 63 years, beloved husband of Maureen, much loved dad of Laura and Martin and adored grampa of Lewis. Taken too soon and sorely missed.
WILLIAMSON – Peacefully at her home, 20 Linnet Court, Ardrishaig, on October 21, 2023, Jean Williamson, née Currie, aged 93 years. Formerly of Tarbert and Bridgend, Islay. Beloved wife of the late Dugald. Much loved mother of Christine and the late Elizabeth. Cherished nana of Wendy, Peter, Marie and Shona, and great-nana of Erin, Lewis, Holly and Abi. Funeral service will be held in Islay Baptist Church, Jamieson Street, Bowmore on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11am, thereafter to Bowmore Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited to attend.
WYLIE – Peacefully at Hillside View Care Home, Paisley, on Saturday October 14, 2023, aged 70, James (Jim) Wylie, son of the late Allan and Margaret Wylie, formerly of Ardfern. Funeral will take place at the graveside at Pennyfuir Cemetery on Monday, October 30 at 12.00 noon. Family flowers only please. All friends are respectfully invited to attend.
