MACFARLANE – Peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, on October 13, 2023, Isobel Macfarlane, née Millar, in her 96th year of 47 Union Street, Lochgilphead. Loving wife of the late Duncan, and much-loved mother of Sylvia and Murray. Cherished grandmother of Catlin and Aidan. Dear sister of Jim. A good neighbour, dear friend and former work colleague to many. Funeral service was held in Lochgilphead Parish Church on Friday, October 20, 2023, followed by interment at Achnabreac Cemetery. Forever in our thoughts.
WILLIAMSON – Peacefully at her home, 20 Linnet Court, Ardrishaig, on October 21, 2023, Jean Williamson, née Currie, aged 93 years. Formerly of Tarbert and Bridgend, Islay. Beloved wife of the late Dugald. Much loved mother of Christine and the late Elizabeth. Cherished nana of Wendy, Peter, Marie and Shona, and great-nana of Erin, Lewis, Holly and Abi. Funeral service will be held in Islay Baptist Church, Jamieson Street, Bowmore on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 11am, thereafter to Bowmore Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited to attend.
