Spooktacular fun and games at Caol Hallowe’en party

Children aged three to 11 enjoyed some ghoulish goings on last week when they attended the Caol Residents Group Hallowe’en party at Caol Youth Centre.

Organised by the group and supported by Highland Council tenant participation officer Karin Mckay the gathering took the form of a fancy dress competition, with first, second and third prizes won by Barbie, Lilac Princess Zombie and Scar Grow respectively.

Maddie, the children’s entertainer, organised fun games and dancing for everyone.

Next month Caol Residents Group in partnership with Highland Council Tenant Participation Team have their annual Christmas Event on Friday December 1.

The fun starts at Camaghael Road at 4.15pm, with Santa and his elves arriving in his Santa truck then onto Camesky Road, Kilmallie Road, Lochyside play park, Clunes Avenue, Erracht Drive, finishing off outside his Grotto at Caol Shopping Centre.

Nevis Radio, dancers, school choirs etc will provide entertainment and there will also be stalls selling Christmas goodies and much more onto 8pm.

There will also be a big festive raffle and tickets can be purchased by messaging the Caol Residents Group Facebook page or on the night.
