Bill Calderwood was re-elected unopposed as chairman of Arran Community Council at its annual general meeting last week.
All the other office bearers were also re-elected. Peter McKinnon stays as vice chairman, Jim Henderson, secretary, and Julie Graham, treasurer.
The sub-group representatives are: planning, Steve Garraway; ferry committtee, Bill Calderwood; forestry/geopark, Richard McMaster; marine, Jim Henderson, and environment Peter McKinnon. A new post covering heath and social care is to be filled by Julie Graham.
