‘Eight that a little bit better’ – Bob MacIntyre’s improved showing in Sun City

Oban’s Bob MacIntyre put in a much improved showing as he carded a two under round of 70 in the second round of the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa.

After a bogey-ridden 78 on his opening day’s play, the Glencruitten man bounced back to some sort of form with a showing eight shots better than Thursday’s.

While yesterday’s round started with a string of bogeys, today’s started with a blitz of birdies, with three shots hauled back in the opening few holes.

Sadly the round lost its momentum as Bob carded another four bogeys before ending with two birdies to leave him on four over and tied for 57th place.

He will be back out tomorrow alongside Zamber Lombard at 10.48am.
