Biggest Map of Scotland visits Oban

The puzzling skills of Oban youngsters were put to the test on Saturday November 13 as they tackled a jigsaw of the largest known map of Scotland.

It proved little trouble for the budding cartographers though, as they completed the huge Ordnance Survey style map in just over an hour, filling the Atlantis Leisure Hall with their detailed creation.

Hosting the event, was Gaelic outdoor instructor Ross Christie and he said: “You could take a piece of the puzzle up a hill with you it is so detailed!”
