Isle of Seil Golf Club played their annual Captain’s Away Game at the Dragon’s Tooth Golf Course, Ballachulish, last Friday.
Club captain George Hannah arranged for all the Seil players to be there for 10.30am to prepare to tee-off.
The first nine holes proved a little tricky, with the fairways and greens still white with frost. However, the second nine was played in perfect conditions, with the ice melted, the sun shining and outstanding views of Ballachulish.
It was a wonderful venue for the Seil golfers to test their skills as it is rated as one of the best nine-hole courses in the world.
Results were collated by the Ballachulish committee in the clubhouse, with John Taylor finishing first with a score of 62 on the day. George Hannah second on 65 and Joe Mclean and Pat Mill finished third equal on 67.
