Yachters celebrate 2023 sailing success

Lochaber Yacht Club (LYC) members held their AGM and Prize Giving recently in the Clubhouse on the shores of Loch Linnhe.

Lochaber Yacht Club members gathered in their Loch Linnhe clubrooms for their annual prizegiving and AGM.

It was a packed evening of formalities, planning for next year’s sailing and celebrating the achievements of all the members taking part in the 2023 season.

Of the many trophies handed out, this year saw four LYC junior members being celebrated for their skill and seamanship gained over the summer.

Some of them have been travelling away to RYA events and their skill and confidence on the water has grown hugely over the year.
