Fyne Homes lines up festive fun for tenants

In the run-up to Christmas, Fyne Homes is helping its tenants get into the festive spirit without breaking the bank.

In partnership with Campbeltown Picture House, the housing association’s tenant participation team is presenting a series of Christmas cinema events for all the family.

There is a lot of Christmas movie fun planned for children, with youngsters of P7 age and under eligible to receive a cinema ticket to watch a film of their choice free between December 15 and December 29.

“Tickets can be collected from our office in Burnside Square [3 Harvey’s Lane, Burnside Street],” said housing officer Louise Anderson.

“I will have the office open the week of December 4-8 from 9am to 11am for ticket collection.

“It could be for your child, grandchild, niece or nephew etc.”

A selection box is also available for every ticket collected.

Adults will not miss out on the fun, as a special screening of the classic Christmas movie White Christmas will take place at 1pm on Tuesday December 12.

“I will be there to welcome everyone and host the afternoon, and I’ll be bringing lots of goodies, including mince pies, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, prosecco and cupcakes,” said Louise.

“This is always a great afternoon with plenty of banter and a wee sing-song.

“It is essential that this event is booked prior, so I have numbers and to make sure there is no shortage of pies so please book in advance.”

To book a spot, telephone tenant participation officer Craig Baxter on 0345 607 7117, making sure to clearly state which event you would like to attend and its location, as well as the number of tickets required, or contact Louise directly by emailing landerson@fynehomes.co.uk or sending her a message on Facebook Messenger.

“We love hosting these events, so Fyne Homes really hope you will join us in the festivities in the run-up to Christmas Day.

“Everything is completely free and we want as many tenants and their families to get as much out of the events as possible, especially with the cost of living crisis.”
