Tree-mendous festival at St Conan’s

St Conan’s Kirk at Lochawe is ready to sparkle and shine for this year’s Christmas Tree Festival.

Organisers are confident of having more than 60 twinkling trees on show from Friday December 1 to Sunday December 3, opening times are 10am until 6pm each day with the added bonus of carols on the Sunday.

More than 4,000 visitors went along last year to admire the trees of all shapes, sizes and great  designs from  groups, families, schools and organisations.

Am army of volunteers will be on hand to meet, greet, guide, offer refreshments and keep the festival running smoothly.

The winning tree for 2022 was known as the Upside down tree, although a tree made out of lego and a Noah’s ark entry were worthy runners up.
