Possession
Police had cause to detain a 31-year-old man, under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 for the purpose of a search at 12.40am on Monday November 20, in Ardfern. The search revealed the man was in possession of 8.33g of cannabis. He was charged and issued with a recorded police warning.
Domestic Abuse
During the week of November 20-26, in the Mid Argyll, Kintyre and the Islands area, Police Scotland received two reports of domestic assault and one report of threatening and abusive behaviour. This has led to two people being arrested, charged and held to appear in court. Police Scotland remains committed to tackling offenders of Domestic Abuse and reducing the level of it in our communities.
