Drunk and incapable

Police were called at 12.20am on Monday November 20 after a 35-year-old woman  attempted to gain entry to a house in which she did not reside in Davaar Avenue, Campbeltown. The woman was found to be in an extremely intoxicated state and unable to take care of herself. She was taken to Campbeltown Hospital and released into police care after assessment. The woman spent the night in police care due to her alleged level of intoxication and was released when sober. She was charged with the offence and a fixed penalty notice was issued.

Threatening and abusive behaviour

At 10.30pm on Thursday November 23, police received a report that a man was shouting, swearing and acting aggressively towards members of the public, in Longrow, Campbeltown. The man was traced and arrested for the offence, before being cautioned, charged and issued with a recorded police warning.

Offensive weapon

A 40-year-old man was arrested after allegedly brandishing a baseball bat in an aggressive and menacing manner in Kirk Street, Campbeltown, at 11.55pm on Saturday November 25. Police traced the man and took him to Campbeltown Police Station where he was cautioned, charged and held for court.
