‘Purrfect’ night sees Alleycats take the lead

It’s all change at the top after Week 4 of the Lochaber Bowling Series (LBS) Team Bowling League with the Alleycats leaping into pole position with a clean sweep.

Peaky Bowlers also had a clean sweep but had to settle for second and the Burnt Ends, having been top for the first three weeks, slipped down to third place.

Peaky Bowlers had the highest team game with one of their own, Toon Brown, having the best individual score with 176.

In the Handicap League, Fort William British Legion keep the top spot even although Rotary A scuppered a clean sweep. Rotary B had a clean sweep but had to settle for second place with Burnt Ends in third.

Billy Macleod, Fort William British Legion, had the best individual game with 224 with Karen Dean, Gutter Girls, hot on his heels with 223.

The Gutter Girls had the highest team score – 1,523.
