Festivities continue at Plantation and Kyle

Festive fun continues in and around Lochaber with another two Christmas crackers for the family to enjoy.

On Thursday night (December 7) Plantation residents will be out in force for their big switch-on.

All the action will take place around the Plantation Community Association Hall which will be open from 5.30pm when there will be soup, drinks, cakes and mince pies.

The Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 6pm.

Further north, Kyle RNLI will be holding its annual Santa’s Grotto on Saturday December 9 at the lifeboat station in Kyle.

Accompanied children are invited to go along and give their letters to Santa and have a photograph taken with him. There will also be a sale of Christmas cards, RNLI souvenirs, raffle tickets and lucky squares.

Admission to Santa is £2.50 and every child will receive a gift.
