Police Scotland have discovered a body on the Isle of Skye more than a year after a man was reported missing.
A body was found in a wooded area west of Portree at around 3pm on Tuesday December 12 after Harry MacDonald was reported missing in the area in September 2022.
Formal identification has yet to take place but Mr MacDonald’s family has been informed.
Police is currently treating the death as unexplained pending further enquiries and report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
