Lions Club volunteers Jim Edge (far left), Nicola Wilson (president and chief elf), Elaine Walton, Gary Hamilton and Sean McMahon were kept busy on Saturday when parents and children flocked to pay Santa a visit in his grotto at the Royal Hotel.
Each child received a goody bag gift from Father Christmas which included, fruit, chocolate and a lovely book.
Entry to the grotto was free of charge and everyone left with a smile on their face.
“We receive a lot of support from the community throughout the year and it’s good to be able to give something back now and again,” said former Lions Club president Jim Edge.
Oban and Lorn Lions Club are a not for profit organisation consisting of a group of volunteers who dedicate their time to raising money for worthwhile causes.
