The second playing of the Heidbangers’ Bill Brannigan Memorial Trophy competition took place at Dunaverty Golf Club recently and, despite the inclement weather, there was a healthy turnout of 25 players.
The competition commemorates Bill Brannigan, past captain and secretary of Dunaverty Golf Club, and organiser of the Wednesday Heidbangers’ group for many many years.
Bill passed away in April 2022 and this trophy was gifted to the Heidbangers by past captain Donald Brown to commemorate Bill’s great work.
The results for the day saw a clear winner: Jim Warren with 42 points.
