A festive fling for Fort William’s young dancers

Friends, family and performers braved the bad weather to attend the Jane Douglas School of Dance Christmas Show which was held in Kilmallie Community Centre on Sunday December 17.

One of the most looked forward events of the year, the dancers have the chance to show off what they have learned in a  number of dance styles, many with an added festive flavour alongside more traditional Scottish Dance.

A total of 50 Highland dancers joined Fèis Lochabair Scottish Step Dancers and Coisir Bun Sgòil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar for a fantastic Christmas show with great performances full of charm, fun, beautiful dancing and singing.

The school thanked backstage and front of house teams who kept the show slick, chef Graeme Kennedy and the team of bakers for their delicious cakes, everyone who donated raffle prizes and local companies, Letterfinlay Foods, Caol Coop, Corpach Coop and The Geographer restaurant for their donations.
