Some festive fun at the bowling alley

Lochaber Bowling Series members took a night off from their 10 pin league exploits last week in order to strike up some Christmas capers instead.

Three Snowmen, Santa and a collection of Christmas Jumper clad rollers put all competitiveness to one side in the spirit of the season and fun.

Oh no they didn’t…oh yes they did!

It was the night of the LBS Team Bowling League fun bowl, as it takes a festive break until 2024.

Despite the no competitiveness ethos there were still some prizes to be won in the two games played.

Unlike the League matches however it didn’t matter how high the players scored as a  gutter ball, missing a split, strikes and spares all meant different points to the usual.

Thank goodness John and Pam Weller worked the winners out.

William Landsborough came away with top prize in the first game with Tommy  McKnight in second, Vincent McLay third and Pam Weller fourth.

In game two William took first place again with John Byrne in second, Isla Day third and Pam Weller in fourth.

There were mystery prize bags for all of them.

The League resumes on January 8 2024.

Merry Christmas everyone from LBS.
