Oban High School put on its 19th Pensioners Treat serving up a feast and entertainment.
Teacher of Support and Music Morven Gage said: “For some of our local pensioners it may be the only time of year that they spend with youngsters and that’s the reason why it continues to be such an important event for both our pupils and special guests.”
Members of the Senior Pupil Leadership Team were on hand to welcome guests into the school.
The Food Technology Department provided a feast of Christmas treats which was made and served by the school’s Senior Foundation Apprenticeship pupils.
Young musicians and dancers entertained the guests and the event was compered by former teacher Frank McKenna.
“We are tremendously grateful to local businesses for all of the donations we received for our raffle, particularly in the current financial climate and we are looking forward to our 20th Anniversary of the Oban High School Annual Pensioners Treat in 2024,” added Morven.
