With 52 gents signed up to play in Dunaverty Golf Club’s 2023/24 Winter League, and weekly entries very healthy, a keen competition has ensued.
With 25 playing weeks through the winter – from October to March – scoring is very tight at the halfway stage, with a number of players within 10 points of the lead.
The best five Stableford scores from each player over the weeks played give the final total, and with a gross and nett eclectic competition – the best nett or gross score at each hole over the rounds played – running alongside, there is plenty to play for.
And with a first and second prize every week, plus a nearest the pin, there are great opportunities each and every time members play.
