The Western Isles Duke of Edinburgh’s Award ceremony for Lewis participants took place on Friday December 1 in the Assembly Hall, Nicolson Institute, Stornoway.
This year’s ceremony was opened by Councillor Paul Finnegan, chairperson of Education Sports and children’s services committee, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.
Over 100 young people were presented with Duke of Edinburgh’s Award certificates, which is a significant achievement.
The awards were presented by Ms Helen Anderson, director of DofE Scotland.
