Gigha Village Hall was the venue for a great lunch at Gigha’s annual fundraising event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Locals and visitors enjoyed a hearty lunch and friendly craic on Saturday September 30 as donations flooded in.
Always well supported, islanders produced a tremendous array of local produce including the finest of seafood chowder, crab, lobster, and salmon, finishing off with beautiful home-baking.
Generous and quirky raffle donations were gratefully received and added some hilarity.
The final total raised was £1,400, with a further £225.25 pledged as gift aid.
Well done Gigha, as always!
