Nevis Hillwalking Club: Saturday October 14

Saturday October 14 – Glen Coe

Aonach Dubh a’ Ghlinne (845m, Corbett Top) – dark ridge of the glen
Stob an Fhuarain (968m, Munro Top) – peak of the spring
Sgor na h-Ulaidh – (994m, Munro) – peak of the treasure

The forgotten mountain of Glen Coe, Sgòr na h-Ulaidh, is hidden from view and sees far fewer ascents than other peaks in the glen. It is exceptionally steep but the view is an unfamiliar aspect to the better known peaks around it.

The route can be shortened by omitting the Munro and descending from the summit of Stob an Fhuarain by its E ridge.

12Km, 1244m ascent
10km, 1012m ascent – omitting the Munro

Please note walks may change at short notice because of conditions on the day.
