A man from Sutherland has appeared in private at Oban Sheriff Court charged with a serious assault.
Angus Hope, 23, appeared on a petition matter on Wednesday October 4.
He was facing a charge of assault to severe injury, impairment and permanent disfigurement.
Hope made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
