Two artists responsible for setting up the Arran Arts Heritage Trail will be hosting a talk on historic artists who have lived and worked on Arran.
Alex Boyd and Ruth Impey will talk about setting up the trail and about some of Arran’s significant artists at the next meeting of the Saltire Society on Monday October 23 in Ormidale Pavilion, Brodick, at 7.30pm.
Both accomplished artists and speakers, Alex and Ruth will share details about some of Arran’s most famous artists including Joan Eardley, Jessie M King and Margot Sandeman.
Everyone with an interest in these topics is invited to attend. Entry is free, however, donations are welcome.
