A new open water rowing club is being launched in Moidart.
Based in Glenuig, the club will assemble its own boat, which it hopes to complete by summer 2024.
After completion, the club will row in the waters around Moidart, with plans to eventually complete against other skiff teams.
Fundraising for the construction is under way, with a small team already assembled and events being planned. These include a curry night and sponsored row.
Anyone interested is invited to a meeting on Thursday November 2 at 6pm in the Glenuig Inn.
