Lochaber alehouses feature in UK Beer Guide

Six Lochaber hostelries feature in the recently published Good Beer Guide produced annually by The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA ).

An independent guide to the best of Britain’s pubs, this edition includes award-winning establishments the Ben Nevis Bar, Ben Nevis Inn and The Grog and Gruel in Fort William, the Steam Inn in Mallaig, the Stronlossit Hotel in Roy Bridge and the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe.

Over the past couple of weeks, publicity material and a free copy of the guide have been delivered to each establishment.

Beers from local businesses such as the award-winning Ardgour Ales, Glen Spean, River Leven and the Hanging Tree brewery from Drumnadrochit are featured in several of the duide’s pubs, helping to promote fine beers to locals and tourists.
