Ewan McVicar announces electrifying Wee Toon Tour

A famous DJ and producer will return to his motherland with a tour of Scottish towns, which will include shows in Oban and the Isle of Skye.

Ewan McVicar will embark on his ‘Wee Toon Scottish Tour’ in December, with the Ayrshire native promising nine shows in seven days.

It is hoped this will champion homegrown talent and highlight venues off the beaten track during a special week for club culture in some of Scotland’s most remote locations.

The 29-year-old has emerged as one of the brightest talents in the world of electronic music, capturing the hearts of Scottish fans and industry insiders with his heartfelt sets, relatability and strong Scottish identity.

This reputation has been consolidated by tracks such as Groove Thang and Heather Park, through curating his own festival, and his headlining Creamfields set.

The Wee Toon Tour will kick off at Club 69 in Paisley on Sunday December 10 and will involve a stop at Oban’s Corran Halls on Monday December 11, before the gang head to Skye to perform at the Portree Community Centre on Tuesday December 12.

The tour will come to an end at an unannounced disclosed location for two day and night events, that will soon be announced.

Wee Toon Scottish Tour organiser, Tom Ketley from Watchtower/FLY, said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Ewan and take this tour on the road.

“Scotland has some of the best crowds in the world and to bring dance music to smaller towns and cities which would not normally welcome headliners is something we can’t wait to do.”

Tickets for the Wee Toon Tour are in high demand, and the tour is expected to sell out quickly, with fans urged to secure their tickets early to ensure they don’t miss out.
