On the evening of Friday November 3, Mid Argyll RFC’s under-14 girls travelled to the home of Glasgow Warriors to compete in an U14 round robin tournament before the Warriors took on South African team DHL Stormers.
With a small squad of eight, the girls were joined by two Oban players and three Lenzie players.
They played two games, narrowly losing both, but played some great open rugby, scoring lots of tries along the way.
The girls then took part in forming the honour guard as the Warriors took to the field before beating the Stormers 20-9.
The girls appeared on TV and also met members of the Warriors team, who were happy to sign autographs and pose for photos.
