Strongmen from across Scotland bore down on Corpach last weekend to take part in the Iron Therapy Novice Strongman Competition.
Organised by gym owner and award-winning strongman Stuart Whyte, the day saw competitors showing their prowess in log press for max 200kg, deadlift for reps, lifting car, deadlift hold, 110kg sandbag and carrying atlas stones at 90kg, 105kg, 120kg, 130kg and 140kg.
Stuart said: “The gym was buzzing with action right through the day and everyone was on top form. The events went well. We were able hold them inside and out which was a great help.
“Competition was very friendly with everyone taking part putting in maximum effort. Thanks go to everyone who took part. I hope to stage this again.”
When the numbers were added up, the winners were: 1 Calum Brodie, Ayrshire; 2 Curtis Neill, Kirkcaldy; 3 Lee Mclellan, Muir of Ord.
