Community sings up for Salvation Army

Campbeltown Salvation Army Town Carol Service was held on Sunday December 2 in the Campbeltown Parish Church.

The service was led by Major Ruth Russell with Campbeltown Brass accompanying the congregation carol singing.

Taking part during the service were the choirs from both Castlehill and Dalintober Primary Schools.

The youth team from the Salvation Army performed a drama about the real meaning of Christmas before the Army Kidz formed a Nativity Scene.

This event was well attended and a retiring offering for the work of the Scottish Air Ambulance Service raised £325.81.

The Army would like to thank Campbeltown Parish for the use of the church, the primary schools and the Brass Band for coming along and in helping make the night a great success.
