The team at Kintyre Food Bank have thanked the community for its continued support during 2023, as demand for its services continues to increase.
“On behalf of the volunteers and clients of the Kintyre Food Bank, may I say a huge thank you to all who have given so generously over the last year,” said Mary Anne Stewart, the food bank’s chairperson.
“As everyone is aware, the number of individuals and families having to use our services is significantly increasing.
“It is a dreadful thing that this has become and increasingly vital service.”
Based at Unit 3, Kintyre Industrial Estate, Albyn Road, Kintyre Food Bank runs a referral scheme serving Campbeltown and the surrounding area.
There are collection points in Campbeltown’s Tesco and Co-op supermarkets where donations for the food bank can be deposited.
